Playful Printmaking with Studio Art Club

In this two hour workshop with Amanda O’Shaughnessy of Studio Art Club, you’ll get to play with gel printmaking! This process is a lot of fun and very experimental. All skill levels welcome-whether you’re experienced or this is your first time.

We’ll roll translucent paint directly onto the gel printmaking plates to create colorful layers of overlapping shapes. Use stencils and masks inspired by artists such as Henri Matisse and Wassily Kandinsky or you can cut your own designs.

All supplies are provided for use during the workshop. Each participant will get to take home tubes of Amanda’s favorite paint and keep their gel plate!

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine or a favorite beverage.
